We do not sell, trade, rent, or distribute your personal information to third parties for any commercial or marketing purpose — under any circumstances.

- Account credentials: email and hashed password for tool access (ARIES, GEMINI)
- Usage data: actions performed within our tools, feature usage patterns, error logs — used solely to improve functionality

- Business data you input: incident records, team data, task information entered into ARIES or GEMINI — this data belongs to you
- Technical data: browser type, IP address, and device information collected automatically when you visit macmurlachse.com
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
3. How We Collect Information

- Register for or log in to a hosted tool (ARIES, GEMINI)
- Contact us via email or enquiry forms
- Enter data into our software products
- Visit our website (via cookies and standard web analytics)
- Enter into a services agreement with MMSE
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain our software tools and services
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account

5. Data Storage
Your data is stored using the following mechanisms depending on the product:
- GEMINI: Account and data storage is managed via Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Firebase is bound by Google's data processing terms and complies with international data protection standards.
- ARIES (offline deployments): Data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage or as a downloaded JSON file on your own device or network. MMSE does not have access to locally stored ARIES data.
- Website: Standard server logs and cookies may be retained for up to 90 days for security and performance purposes.
Data stored in Firebase may be held on servers located in the United States or other Google Cloud regions. By using GEMINI, you consent to this storage arrangement. Google Firebase complies with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Data We Do Not Collect or Sell
MMSE explicitly does not:
- Sell personal information to any third party
- Share personal information with advertisers or data brokers
- Use your data to build advertising profiles
- Distribute client business data to any external party without explicit written consent
- Use automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making that affects your legal rights
7. Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- To third-party service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g. Firebase/Google Cloud), bound by confidentiality obligations
- Where required by Australian law, court order, or regulatory authority
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of MMSE, our clients, or the public
- With your explicit written consent
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Security measures include:
- HTTPS encryption across all hosted services
- Firebase Authentication with secure token management
- Access controls limiting staff access to personal data
- Regular review of security practices
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the basis for processing
